ABOUT US
Since 1999 the Yakima-Morelia Sister City Association has worked to promote mutual understanding, international goodwill and the sharing of cultural diversity between the communities of Yakima, Washington and Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico.
Y-MSCA has facilitated exchanges between our two cities that have created community impact and kindled lifelong friendships. We are dedicated to sharing cultural diversity through interactions in social, cultural, artistic, economic and educational areas.
OUR WORK
For over 20 years Y-MSCA has hosted a number of diverse and unique events such as Noche de Agave and our Dia de los Muertos celebration. We have facilitated many delegation visits to and from Yakima and Morelia and have partnered with other organizations to exchange artists and musicians. Learn more about what we do!
